Gun Registration in Mohave County Hitler Would Be Proud of Mohave County, AZ
EXTRA EXTRA! Nazi gun registration in Mohave County AZ? County Manager
Ron Walker's new County Policies include providing serial numbers at gun
check in at the Mohave County Administration Building. Is the County violating
state and federal laws?
In retaliation of citizens peacefully protesting the denial
of our 1st Amendment rights at the John McCain Town Hall meeting in Nov.
2009, County Manager Ron Walker shows residents who's boss by implementing
his new policies, and it seems he is doing so without considering the
Constitution, or any state and federal laws for that matter.
Walker's new policies include prohibiting any political assemblies or
peaceful rallies on the citizens County Administration property or 'surrounding
area', bans tank tops, 'offensive' tatoos, t-shirts with alcohol references,
and campaign banners, buttons or signs, among many other new 'crack down
policies'.
And now they are logging serial numbers of guns as they check your weapon
in before you are allowed to enter the County Bldg. and do County business.
We asked several people, including the security guards, where this gun
information was being stored and for how long. After several 'I don't
knows', the road finally led us to County Manager Ron Walker's office,
and were told that serial numbers and gun check in information was stored
with him.
Here is our Arizona State Law that forbids Gun Registration. 13-3108.
Firearms regulated by state; state preemption; violation; classification
GREAT NEWS!!!
WE MADE A DIFFERENCE!!!!
On Wednesday, April 21, two Arizona
Citizens Defense League - supported bills passed through the Senate
Committee of the Whole (COW) and will move on to third and final reading.
House
Bill 2629, as amended, was added after we learned that Mohave
County was registering guns when someone would check their firearm at
a government building. These government buildings were recording owner
information and serial numbers of firearms. HB
2629 will make the current actions of Mohave County illegal,
and if they continue to illegally register guns, it will allow a private
citizen to bring suit against the county. Once the bill passes final reading,
it will return to the house for concurrence before it can be sent to the
Governor for her consideration.
